Vesuvianite Lightning Bolt Drop Earrings

Vesuvianite Lightning Bolt Drop Earrings
Vesuvianite is named after Mount Vesuvius, where it was first described in the late 1700s among limestone blocks thrown out by the volcano. The colour is a luminous, translucent green-yellow, like sunlight through new leaves. Each stone is hand-carved into a crackling lightning bolt. The surfaces are smooth and polished, and the sharp zigzag edges catch the light and glow when it passes through. Because vesuvianite is a natural stone, every bolt has its own patterns, depth of colour, and tiny inclusions, so no two pairs are quite the same. Its translucent green colour is often mistaken for jade.

Additional Information
Each bolt hangs from a simple Sterling Silver ear wire that directs the focus to the stone. They’re light enough to wear all day, and the long, pointed shape draws the eye downwards. Wear them with your hair tucked back so the colour and the movement show.
A bright, energetic gift for anyone who loves bold colour, natural stones, or a touch of drama.
